Job summary

UNC Health Nash is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting. The role reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and emphasizes coordination of care with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, education, and discharge readiness, with opportunities to contribute to unit goals and quality improvement efforts. Per diem, night shift, onsite at Nash Hospitals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting following standards and nursing care processes.
• Coordinate care with the nurse manager/director and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families and participate in care planning and discharge preparation.
• Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and safety initiatives.
