Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a CT Tech II for the Free-standing Emergency Department at Crossroads in St. Petersburg, FL. This Full-Time night position involves performing diagnostic imaging with emphasis on CT, adhering to radiation safety and quality standards while providing compassionate patient care.

You will supervise students and staff as needed, coordinate with radiology teams, and ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow in a modern radiology suite.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Mandatory minimum of two years CT experience.
• Experience in advanced imaging areas (3D Lab/IR/Cardiac imaging) preferred.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure and current BLS/Healthcare Provider.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Exercise professional judgment in imaging procedures.
• Deliver appropriate patient care while ensuring successful procedures.
• Comply with applicable state and federal regulations for modalities.
• Adhere to Orlando Health mission and strategic imperatives.
• Position patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Assist in supervision and training of staff and students.
• Utilize radiology IT systems effectively.
• Maintain clean and stocked work areas.
• Provide patient transport.
