Job summary

Shields Health Care Group seeks an MRI Technologist for per-diem positions in Massachusetts. You will provide a professional, patient-centered atmosphere while maintaining a fast-paced clinical environment and performing MRI exams per center protocols.

Requirements include MRI experience, ARRT/CPR certifications (ARMRIT accepted at some sites), and strong interpersonal skills. Competitive pay and benefits offered; some locations may require call rotation.

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods.
• Some locations may require call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
• Position the patient and ensure their comfort.
• Perform scans according to center protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Record patient data in the Tech Data Entry system.
• Provide films/CDs when appropriate and forward to Radiologist.
• Assist clerical staff as needed.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms.
• Adhere to credentialing and training requirements.
