Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification on hire.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• Proficient computer skills.
• At least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure and screening for contraindications.
• Operate MRI scanners and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality images.
• Position patients correctly and monitor during scans to ensure safety and comfort.
• Adhere to strict MRI safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Administer contrast agents intravenously when indicated and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine QA checks on MRI equipment to ensure performance.
