Job summary

Ideal candidates are MRI certified (ARMRIT or ARRT(MR)), BCLS certified, graduates of a JRCERT program, with at least 2 years of MRI experience and solid computer skills. Per diem role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification on hire.
• Graduate of a JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• Proficient computer skills.
• At least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI scans, explain the procedure, screen for contraindications, and ensure comfort.
• Operate MRI scanners to acquire high-resolution images and position patients correctly.
• Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from MRI hazards.
• Monitor vital signs during scans and adjust imaging parameters as needed.
• Administer intravenous contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine QA checks on MRI equipment.
