Job summary

Kingman Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under Radiologist supervision. The role requires careful patient positioning, imaging accuracy, and strict safety practices to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications include ARRT MRI (MR) or ARMRIT accreditation, BLS certification, and current licensure with MRI certification to be completed within 9 months of hire. Per diem shifts with defined weekly hours and compensation apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program or MRI Program Accredited through ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Experience: On the job training with outside didactic education (e.g., Galveston College) or prior MRI experience.
• Certification: BLS through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Licensure: Current ARRT MRI Certification (MR) or ARMRIT; MRI certification through ARRT within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist direction, anatomically positions patient and performs MRI procedures.
• Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures for quality diagnostic outcomes.
• Selects appropriate shielding and immobilization devices and performs patient care planning.
• Reviews data and assesses patient condition to ensure safe and effective procedures.
• Monitors patient and equipment during procedures and documents start/stop times and reactions.
