Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Level 1 Medication Aide at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Under nursing leadership you administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness and any adverse actions or side effects.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, Level 1 Medical Aide certification, insulin certification, and CPR/AED; continuing education every two years; tuberculosis screening; and the ability to pass a background check for security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Level 1 Medical Aide certification from DHSS/DMH required.
• Insulin certification required.
• Continuing education: minimum 4 hours every 2 years.
• One year of acute care, emergency, or correctional experience preferred.
• Must have TB screening documentation (PPD).
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Must pass background check and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
