Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Per-diem Materials Attendant to inventory and replenish the assigned unit with medical/surgical supplies, patient linen, oxygen and related items. You will support unit operations and collaborate with Nursing, Staff and the Materials Coordinator.

Responsibilities include distributing linen, receiving products, maintaining par levels, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring a clean, orderly supply area.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer literacy required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to count and maintain neat, orderly work areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to internal and external clients and patients.
• Receive medical/surgical products and replenish user areas via totes program.
• Inventory supply par level areas.
• Return overstocked items for credit daily.
• Maintain clean and orderly supply areas.
• Inventory and order medical gases as per par level.
• Coordinate deliveries and respond to user requests for supplies.
