Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical office, healthcare, customer service, or administrative roles preferred.
• Knowledge of medical scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorizations preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Register patients and maintain demographic and medical information in the EMR.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and assist with billing inquiries.
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, pre-certifications, and medical records requests.
• Maintain provider schedules and support daily office operations.
• Balance daily cash collections according to office procedures.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
