Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant Per Diem in Phoenix to support technologists and nurses with patient- and procedure-related tasks. The role involves clerical duties, charting, data entry, PACS/document handling, and patient flow coordination in a fast-paced imaging environment.

The position offers flexible scheduling, per diem pay, and opportunities for internal transfer. A high school diploma is required, with BLS certification preferred and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Good judgment and clear communication with patients and staff.
• Experience using common office software and EMR systems is helpful.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general information.
• Enter patient data, scan documents, and maintain charts in PACS and EMR.
• Assist with pre/post procedure prep and restock supplies as needed.
• Support patient check-out, gather demographics and insurance information, and verify details.
• Assist in coordinating transportation and patient flow within the department.
