The ideal candidate will assist with patient check-in, data entry, chart management, and image handling in a fast-paced environment. BLS certification and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification for BLS is required.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and discretion with patients and staff.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of common office software and keyboarding skills.
• Strong organizational skills for coordinating responsibilities.
• Ability to interact with patients and staff in busy medical settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff; answer calls; schedule appointments; enter orders; provide general information.
• Enter patient information; scan documents; maintain complete patient records; manage charts and forms.
• Digitize and upload images to PACS; maintain filing systems per department protocols.
• Process requests for images and reports; release confidential information per protocol.
• Assist in pre- and post-procedure setup; prepare rooms; assist with sterile supplies; observe safety policies.
• Reconcile supplies and manage requisitions; support medical imaging operations under supervision.
