Unitek Learning is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assisting Instructor in California to deliver prepared instruction and provide academic advising to students. The role includes retention activities and supporting program initiatives.

Compensation is based on prior teaching experience, ranging from $31–$34 per hour. The position emphasizes student success, effective communication, and compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA, NRCMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and provide technical and academic training to students.
• Ensure students know competencies required by the syllabus.
• Design and implement lesson plans for each class.
• Provide ongoing student advisement and counseling.
• Refer students to campus director or student services as needed.
• Support program and campus initiatives.
• Comply with all policies and accreditation regulations.
