Job summary

Unitek College in Hayward, CA is seeking a part-time Medical Assisting Instructor to deliver current instruction, provide academic advising and support program initiatives, with a Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and compensation based on experience ($28–$35/hr).

The ideal candidate will have a medical assisting background, three years of hands-on clinical experience, and the ability to mentor a diverse student population using LMS platforms and classroom technology to enhance learning

Qualifications

• Three demonstrable years of hands-on clinical experience in medical assisting.
• Knowledge of Medical Assistant practice and student mentoring.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Educate and provide medical assisting instruction and training.
• Advising and career counseling for students.
• Design lesson plans and accommodate diverse learner needs.
• Maintain compliance with program and institutional policies.
