Unitek Learning is seeking a Part Time Medical Assisting Instructor to join our campus team in Bakersfield, CA. Schedule is M-W-F 8:00am - 5:00pm with hours varying by campus needs. Compensation ranges from $27 to $30 per hour based on teaching experience and qualifications.

The role involves delivering prepared instruction, academic advising and career counseling, and engagement in retention activities to support program success and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; college degree preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• Certification CMA/RMA/NRCMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and provide training to students in medical assisting.
• Design lesson plans aligned with syllabus objectives and student needs.
• Advise students academically and support retention efforts.
• Collaborate with campus staff and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Comply with state, DOE, and accreditation requirements.
