Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Per-Diem Medical Assisting Instructor to support student success through engaging, hands-on instruction in a collegiate environment. You will educate students, design lesson plans, and monitor progress while maintaining high standards of service and compliance with regulations.

The role requires mentoring a diverse student body, independent work, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle.

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on clinical experience as a medical assistant.
• Current knowledge of Medical Assistant practice.
• Ability to mentor a highly diverse student population.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with LMS such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle.

Responsibilities

• Educate and provide technological and academic training to students.
• Ensure students understand competencies for syllabus objectives.
• Design and deliver lesson plans adapted to learners' abilities and styles.
• Demonstrate World Class Service with students and coworkers.
• Identify and refer students at risk to student services for support.
• Provide ongoing student advisement and academic counseling.
• Use varied evaluation methods to support student abilities.
