Northwell Health's New Milford Hospital is seeking a per diem RN for the 3East Med Surg unit. The role includes ensuring patient care on evenings and nights, with a 7:00pm-7:30am shift and per diem scheduling.

Requirements: Associate degree, CT RN license, BLS, and preferred BSN with telemetry experience. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary coordination; strong emphasis on compliance and patient safety.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Medical/surgical experience required.
• Current CT RN license and BLS certification required.
• Preferred BSN with telemetry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ongoing assessments focusing on physiologic, psychologic & cognitive status.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Implements care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Sets priorities of care based on patient needs and resources.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and progress toward outcomes.
• Identifies learning needs and implements education plans.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary functions.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
