Job summary

Bayonne University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a per diem basis. The role covers neonatal to geriatric patients, with emphasis on timely triage and high-quality care in a fast-paced ED.

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Evening shift 3pm–3:30am with per diem scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Current RN New Jersey State license
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department for all ages
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines
• Triage safely, rapidly and accurately for every patient
• Communicate changes in patient status and results with physicians
