Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg 4W unit on a night shift. This per diem/part-time role offers nights from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. in a Magnet-recognized environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an NH RN license (or compact), BCLS with 30 days, and ACLS within a year; BSN strongly preferred. You will mentor staff, perform assessments, document care, and participate in education initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Adheres to ANA standards and hospital policies.
• Documentation must be accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessment and gathers patient history on admission.
• Prioritizes care needs and manages assignments within scope.
• Documents interventions clearly and accurately.
• Mentors new staff and participates in patient education.
• Collaborates with the team to ensure safe medication and IV administration.
