Beloit Health System is seeking a Per Diem Massage Therapist for our NorthPointe Spa. The role involves administering therapeutic massages and body wraps, with assessments and tailored treatment plans for patients and clients.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited massage therapy program, Illinois licensure, CPR within 90 days, and strong hands-on skills. The position requires professional demeanor, empathy, and excellent communication in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Current Illinois state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• Excellent hands-on therapeutic massage skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with patients and clients.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Professionalism, empathy and compassion.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and massage techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments and body wraps as requested.
• Conduct client assessments and review health histories for treatment plans.
• Utilize Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, and other modalities within scope.
• Document treatment plans, progress, and services per hospital policy.
• Educate patients on self-care, stretching, wellness, and stress management.
• Maintain clean, sanitary treatment rooms and equipment.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, privacy and professional standards.
• Monitor patient response and modify techniques as needed.
