Responsibilities

• Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments and body wraps as requested.
• Conduct client assessments and review health histories for treatment plans.
• Utilize Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, and other modalities within scope.
• Document treatment plans, progress, and services per hospital policy.
• Educate patients on self-care, stretching, wellness, and stress management.
• Maintain clean, sanitary treatment rooms and equipment.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, privacy and professional standards.
• Monitor patient response and modify techniques as needed.

The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services and body wraps to promote relaxation, reduce pain and stress, improve circulation, and support overall wellness.

• Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments and body wraps tailored to individual patient and client needs.
• Conduct client assessments and review health histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and other approved modalities within scope of practice.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and services provided in accordance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and clients on self-care practices, stretching, wellness, and stress management techniques.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, privacy, and professional practice standards.
• Monitor patient response during treatment and modify techniques as appropriate.
