Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Southbridge, MA seeks a part-time, on-site Mammographer Per Diem to operate mammography equipment and provide related clerical support. You will document patient history and ensure imaging adheres to universal protocol and safety standards.

The role requires ARRT registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography, MA licensure, and BLS prior to probation completion. Prior mammography experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography by ARRT.
• Massachusetts licensure as a mammography technologist.
• BLS healthcare provider certification required before 90-day probation.
• Prior experience in mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs exams using universal protocol.
• Records patient breast history and notes discomfort or medical concerns.
• Adheres to policies, documents in HIS/RIS/PACS and PEN RAD systems.
• Assists in other areas/modalties as needed and maintains equipment.
• Keeps current with mammography developments and completes CEU requirements.
