Qualifications

• ARRT Registration in Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography.
• Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a mammography technologist.
• BLS healthcare provider certification required before 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs exams with universal protocol and sterile technique.
• Records pertinent patient history and note any discomfort or concerns for Radiologist.
• Adheres to departmental policies and safety requirements; documents work in HIS/RIS/PACS.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and participates in continuing education for Mammography.
• Assists in other areas/modalities as needed.
• Maintains attendance and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
