Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

We offer per diem shifts with same-day or next-day pay, a hiring bonus after completing 2 shifts, and flexible scheduling to fit your availability. Local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM-11:30 PM to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD (TB test) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
