Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads.

Provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications and treatments, collect and document patient information, provide wound care and patient education, and coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Active LPN license, CPR/BLS, and 1 year facility-based experience required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed by facility.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
