Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

You will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers. Per diem positions offer same-day/next-day pay, a hiring bonus after two shifts, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
