Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($37-$39), same-day or next-day pay with RapidPay, a hiring bonus after 2 shifts, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling with full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
