Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a detail oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team. The role involves maintaining dispensing equipment, managing inventory, reporting patient treatment information, and collaborating with physicians and supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have an LPN license in NM, CPR certification, and experience with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN license in NM
• Current CPR certification
• EMR & computer proficiency desired
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols, including Methadone and Suboxone
• Use automated dispensing systems and calibrate pumps
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations
• Ensure compliance with CFR security standards for controlled substances
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regulations
• Provide daily patient assessments
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
