Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a detail oriented LPN to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves working with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors to ensure accurate dispensing and patient care.

The LPN will maintain dispensing equipment, manage inventory, and report patient treatment information, while collaborating with counseling staff in a non-judgemental environment for individuals in substance use disorder treatment.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• EMR & computer proficiency
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols, including methadone and Suboxone
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps and maintain equipment
• Produce and maintain records and reports as required by policy and regulations
• Ensure security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances
• Order, receive and stock medication per DEA and state regulations
• Provide daily assessment of patients
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff
• Other related duties as directed by supervisor
