Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications in partnership with Physicians and Supervisors. The role includes maintaining dispensing equipment, inventory, and reporting patient treatment information.

The ideal candidate works cooperatively with counseling staff in a non-judgmental environment and has experience in substance use treatment. Per diem shifts are available at outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

Current and in-good-standing LPN license for Pennsylvania.
Current CPR certification required.
Experience with EMR systems and computer proficiency preferred.
Experience in chemical dependency treatment is a plus.
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
Use automated dispensing systems and maintain equipment.
Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
Ensure compliance with security for controlled substances.
Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regs.
Provide daily patient assessments.
Assist Nursing Supervisor with orientation of new staff.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
