Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a detail-oriented LPN to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in partnership with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. The dispensing nurse also shares responsibility of maintaining dispensing equipment, managing medication inventory and reporting patient treatment information.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Ohio, current and in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• EMR systems experience and computer proficiency preferred.
• Experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred; positive attitude toward patients.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medications to patients per policy, including Methadone and Suboxone.
• Use automated dispensing systems and calibrate pumps.
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure security of controlled substances per CFR.
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regs.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
