Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem shifts in the Hampton Roads area. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team on a per diem basis.

Candidates must hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year is required; physical requirements must be met, with or without accommodations.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR credential.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
