Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. Provide nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.

The role requires an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a PPD within the last year. Per diem schedules offer flexibility with same-day or next-day pay and local staffing support.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
