Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. The role involves nursing care within LPN scope, medication administration, patient documentation, wound care, and coordinating with healthcare teams.

Active LPN license with at least 1 year of facility-based experience and current BLS/CPR are required. PPD within last year.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test administered within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other providers.
• Perform additional duties as required by the facility.
