Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA in Hampton Roads, VA is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem assignments with competitive pay of $37.00-$39.00 per hour. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and rapid payroll options.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care within LPN scope, administering meds, collecting patient data, wound care, and monitoring changes. Requirements: active LPN license, 1 year facility experience, BLS/CPR, PPD in last year; full-time hours

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
