Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads, VA. The position offers $37-$39 per hour on a per diem basis with flexible scheduling and rapid pay options.

Active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience are required. BLS/CPR, PPD within the last year, and the ability to meet physical demands are also expected. Local applicants preferred and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
