Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. Earn $37-$39 per hour with per diem scheduling and weekly pay.

Position requires an active LPN license, 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. PPD testing must be current, and the ability to meet physical demands is required. Local applicants only.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
