Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join its per diem team across Hampton Roads. The position offers pay of $37–$39 per hour, per diem scheduling, and benefits like rapid pay and ongoing local support.

Typical duties include administering medications, wound care, and patient education while coordinating with the care team. Active LPN license, 1 year facility experience, BLS/CPR, and recent PPD are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD test within the last year is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collect and document patient information accurately.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
