Job summary

Elderwood Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking experienced LPNs to join our elite clinical network in a per diem pool across multiple locations in New York. Offers premium pay with shift differentials and on-site orientation.

Requires NYS LPN license and at least 2 years of LPN experience, with weekend shifts and holidays included. Locations include Western, Central, Southern Tier, North Country NY, and other states.

Qualifications

• Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current state license.
• Two years of working experience in the LPN role.
• Geriatric setting experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel.
• Maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others.
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications and give skilled treatments to residents.
• Direct and monitor personal care duties and nursing care procedures.
• Assist Nursing Assistants with direct care of residents as necessary.
• Report to Unit Manager on symptoms, condition changes, and resident progress.
• Follow the Plan of Care and monitor Nursing Assistants.
