Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. The position offers per diem hours with competitive hourly pay and weekly pay options.

Required are an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year is needed, along with the ability to meet physical demands of the job. Local applicants encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
