Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for its Per Diem team in Hampton Roads. The role offers flexible scheduling and per diem hours with competitive pay, plus same-day or next-day pay options.

Required are active LPN licensure, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year and ability to meet physical requirements are also expected.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD test completed within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
