Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and document patient information within your LPN scope of practice.

Eligible candidates hold an active LPN license, have at least one year of facility experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. Per diem shifts offer flexibility, with same-day or next-day pay options and local staffing coordinators available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
