Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. The role focuses on delivering nursing care within the LPN scope, administering medications, documenting patient information, and supporting daily activities.

Candidates must hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. Per diem schedule offers weekly pay and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
