Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for Per Diem shifts across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and document patient information in a fast-paced setting.

Per diem offers flexibility with same-day or next-day pay options, weekly pay, and local staffing coordinators. Active LPN license and BLS/CPR are required, with at least 1 year of facility experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
