Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. This role involves providing nursing care within the LPN scope, administering medications, documenting patient information, and collaborating with the health care team.

Per diem schedule offers flexible hours, weekly pay, and the possibility of full-time hours. Eligible candidates will hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience,

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
