Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is actively seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. The role offers flexible scheduling with per diem shifts and pay options including same-day or next-day payout.
Candidates must hold a current LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and possess BLS/CPR certification. This position supports a variety of local facilities and assigns shifts based on need.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license required.
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- PPD within the last year.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- No weight restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collect and document patient information.
- Provide wound care and patient education.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
