Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and per diem opportunities with same-day or next-day pay options.

Ideal candidates have an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. Additional requirements include PPD within the last year and ability to meet physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year is required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
