Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

We offer competitive pay, Same-Day or Next-Day Pay, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling. Local staffing coordinators are available, with full-time hours possible. Candidates must have an active LPN license and at least one year of facility-based nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test completed within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties as needed by facility.
