Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. The role offers per diem scheduling with pay of $37-$39 per hour, plus same-day or next-day pay options and a bonus after completing two shifts.

Candidates should hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year is required, with physical requirements to be met.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
