Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our per diem team serving Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, and coordinate with nurses and physicians.

The role offers flexible shifts, competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, same-day or next-day pay via RapidPay Card, and opportunities to work locally. A valid LPN license, at least one year in facility-based care, and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
