Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The position offers per diem hours with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay and a weekly payroll cycle.

Qualified candidates hold an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. The role includes medications administration, wound care, patient education, and coordination with the healthcare team.

• Active LPN license

• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
